Coffs Regional Community Gardens has an exciting program of hands-on workshops for 2024.

All our workshops are a mixture of theory and practice presented by local and visiting experts.

Resilient Gardens – 3rd March, 2024

Presented by the author of the best-selling author of “The Permaculture Home Garden“, Linda Woodrow,  this one and a half hour workshop will show you how to make your food garden summer resilient. This free workshop is funded by the City of Coffs Harbour as part of its water-focused sustainable living program.

You’ll learn about seasonally adapted gardening and eating, raising seedlings to advanced stage before planting them out, techniques for building soil with lots of water holding capacity, how to water efficiently and minimise evaporation, and the importance of providing water for pest predators.
