It’s midym berry season and coffs is alive with fruiting plants in lots of public locations. Great for the kids to discover this super food that is sweet but low GI.

Once you see them they’re everywhere. Council has planted as hedges at roundabouts but often prunes them at the wrong time for maximum fruit. The skatepark used to be a great location but Orlando drive and Hogbin drive is a great prolific hedge. Take the kids or the grandkids on a discovery tour.
