The elder trees at the Gardens are flowering, there for the picking for making Elderflower Fizz.  It’s a very delightful, mildly alcoholic lightly fizzy drink, and way easier to make than ginger beer or kombucha.

And following the flowers, there will be elderberries!  A bottle of elderberry cordial on the shelf is wonderful in case of flu or colds striking the household, or just for drinking.

  • Thankyou for my first newsletter 🙂
I’ve enjoyed the articles & may have an experiment putting my compost ‘through’ my worms. I really enjoyed the pollination workshop with my friendly companions & learned many new things. I’d love to come listen to Linda & Lewie speak on the 5th. Their knowledge is inspiring, I’m keen to learn more from them & celebrate permaculture day.
    Cheers from Peta
