Lots of activity around and about here at the gardens.
Big thanks to you all, just a shout out to a few folk specifically right now
- Bob and Robyne have tidied the surrounds at the mulberry tree
- Jamie has started the memorial garden for the Daniells, cleaned out the Mower shed (did you know there were pavers under all that dirt!) and tidied the office floor for us!
- Steve has been flat out with all his building things, new garden surrounds, new concrete path….and put in new pipes and taps so we can water closer to our beds. The Meeting Place is looking spiffy and we hope to have running water to the sink working better soon.
- Members have taken quite a few loads of rubbish to the tip…..the clean up much needed.
- Claire is working on new PLOT nos for our gardens, which should be a great improvement! And will look lovely!
- Kerry and Phil on Tuesdays, well they’ve just worked together so well to weed and clean up lots of our beds, both Plots and communal.
- New paving in the mandala beds have been laid, these being the discarded brick surrounds from the new colorbond plot surrounds. Special thanks to Jamie for all the hard work with this project.
